Questions about Mitsubishi Electric
Do Mitsubishi heat pumps really heat at −37 °C?
Yes, the FX and GX Hyper Heat series run in heating mode down to −37 °C according to the manufacturer. Output drops with the cold, so we size the unit on its real capacity in deep cold.
What is the difference between FX, GX, HX and JX?
FX and GX are the Hyper Heat models for deep cold (−37 °C); the GX is very quiet. HX goes down to −25 °C. JX runs on 115 V for small rooms.
Are Mitsubishi units eligible for LogisVert?
Several ENERGY STAR cold-climate certified models are eligible. The amount depends on capacity at −8 °C: use our calculator and we’ll confirm with you before purchase.
